WHY USA SOFTBALL?

Why You Should Play USA Softball
There are lots of reasons why so many people choose to play softball sanctioned by the USA Softball. We've listed some of the major benefits below.

1.TRAINING AND EDUCATION
Many factors contribute to a positive softball experience. Much of the fun of playing comes from a coach’s ability and confidence on the field and in the dugout. Training and education are the backbone of a successful program and ASA offers the best educational materials to volunteer coaches, highlighted by its online ACE Coach Training Program. This program is available for all coaches that has passed a background check.
Each year, clinics and seminars for managers, coaches and league officials are offered through USA Softball, please contact the commissioner for details.
Leagues also could not function without umpires. The USA Softball umpire program is among the nation’s largest officiating organizations with over 35,000 officials actively involved each year. USA Softball officials are nationally recognized as the best trained and proficient in the sport and are involved in competition starting with league play, city, state and national championships. Ultimately, USA Softball umpires could officiate events such as USA Softball Nationals, world championship, Pan American and Olympic competitions. They are also sought out for school and college events.
